The tarot for me, has been a lifelong companion, friend, and advisor.
Drawn by their intriguing illustrations and the promise of the future revealed, I bought my first tarot deck on my 12th birthday. From that moment on I read the cards for myself and soon for others. As a kid I would read at slumber parties for my giggly friends. Later, as a teenage hippie, I’d read palms and quick tarot spreads for tourists on the boardwalks of San Diego. In college, there was a many a midnight reading for fellow students worried about school, a new love or (remember, this was college) the “meaning of life”. Fast forward through motherhood, lots and lots of different work environments and experiences, graduate school and a fulfilling career as a library director, I consulted the cards and was never disappointed by their guidance.
Initially, I thought tarot was a way to predict and know the future. But over the many years that I have spent time with and studied their infinite messages I have come to understand the cards and the stories they tell us, are windows to our hidden depths and unique life possibilities. My deep knowledge and experience with tarot along with honed intuition, a caring attitude, and a practical yet light-hearted nature combine to make me a reader of empathy and interpretive skill.

My tarot philosophy:
I use knowledge of the cards, logic, and intuition in equal measure to expedite and enable the insight revealed during your reading.
My tarot readings are a two-way process. I will ask questions during the reading and expect involvement of the client in their reading. This helps the cards to reveal more information, enabling the reading to open up and expand.
I will keep everything a client tells me or is revealed in a reading confidential. Names of clients, E-mail addresses and other personal data will not be shared with a third party. Exceptions: the situation is possibly life-threatening or is required by a court of law.
I will always tell the truth and be honest about what I see and try to provide clear insight and useful information. I will not give false hopes or empty promises. I will not impose information on a client that they have clearly indicated that they do not wish to know or explore further.
Readings will be delivered with sensitivity, compassion and in a nonjudgmental manner. I will treat all my clients with equal respect, regardless of their origin, race, spiritual path, age, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Clients needing advice of a legal, financial, medical, or psychological nature should consult licensed professionals as it is beyond the scope of my services and qualifications.
As a tarot reader, I may offer my opinion, share practical ways for growth, and explore insights but will not and cannot interfere with the free will of the client. It is always my goal that the client leave the reading feeling empowered to make practical, life-affirming decisions. We all have the power to change our future, however actions taken by the client as a result of our tarot reading are the sole responsibility of the client.
I will read the cards to the best of my ability and will conduct the reading with honesty and openness; if I cannot interpret the cards clearly I will tell you that.
I will respect my clients' right to refuse or terminate their reading at any time, regardless of prior consent.
If at any point I feel I am unable to complete a Reading, I will courteously request to reschedule or offer a refund. I reserve the right to refuse to read for any client, and will return any compensation for such a reading.
